Kenya’s Emerging Turbo Care Specialists
A dedicated turbocharger reconditioning house — where over a decade of hands-on experience meets a genuine care for your engine and our environment.
Built Around One Thing — Turbos
Planet Turbo Services Limited is a Nairobi-based company wholly concentrated in the specialized field of turbocharger reconditioning and repairs. Unlike general auto workshops, we don’t split our attention across the whole car — we’ve built our shop, our tools and our people around one component: the turbo.
Over the years, we’ve grown into what we humbly consider Kenya’s emerging turbo care center. We offer quality turbo reconditioning services at very pocket-friendly rates — leaving you with a smile and a healthy turbo to boost you on the run.
Our Values
Four principles that shape every turbo we touch and every customer we serve.
Specialists, Not Generalists
We are wholly concentrated in turbos — that focus is what allows us to solve problems others can’t.
Quality Without Compromise
Every turbo leaves our shop precision-balanced, thoroughly cleaned and rebuilt with genuine parts.
Pocket-Friendly Rates
Reconditioning shouldn’t break the bank — we price fairly because a healthy turbo shouldn’t be a luxury.
Going Green
Reconditioning over replacing — every rebuilt turbo is one less unit heading to landfill.
A Philosophy, Not A Marketing Slogan
Every turbo we save from the scrap pile is a small win for the planet. Reconditioning uses a fraction of the energy and raw material required to manufacture a new unit — and it keeps a perfectly repairable component in service instead of adding to landfill.
We take real pride in that. When you bring your turbo to us, you’re not just saving money — you’re choosing the greener path.
A Word On Turbo Inspection
A turbocharger is a precision instrument spinning at up to 230,000 rpm. When something goes wrong, symptoms can look identical to problems elsewhere in the engine — fuel, injectors, EGR, intercooler leaks, or even simple sensor faults.
Before you assume the turbo is the culprit, it’s worth having it properly assessed. Here’s what we recommend:
- Check for excessive exhaust smoke — colour matters (blue vs black vs white)
- Listen for unusual whistling or whining under load
- Watch oil consumption over a few tanks of fuel
- Note whether power loss is progressive or sudden
- Inspect intercooler pipes for oil residue
- Bring the unit to a specialist — not a generalist — for a proper diagnosis
